What boost? How much torque? Nice dyno numbers. Give me all the info, I must have it!!! :)
 
It will be on pump gas. Im thinking around 22-25 psi. I havent looked at the compressor maps for the frank 2 but I think this is roughly the most efficient range for this turbo. Hopefully my clutch will hold out though. I havent put the upgraded clutch in yet. Most likely wont be too long till Ill need it though.
 
manny knows the owner of marco performance, he hooked it up for 40 bucks for 3-4 runs, i only put down 195hp, 240tq, i guess thats ok for what i have but yeah, ill ask manny if the 40 dollar offer still stands:thumb:
 
alright here's the break down:

3 runs were made w/ 116 octane fuel:
1st run was at 21-22psi pig rich with 0.96v and 790 deg c
still manage to get 386.4 hp to the wheels.
2nd run was at 25psi with leaning out afc a little and VPC set at 10 o'clock on GAIN. This time gained 410.9hp to the wheels
3rd pull was at 25psi and leaned out afc some more. 02 fell down to .91 and power still remained pretty much the same.


Mod lists: Frank 4 with 10 deg clip on td06h turbine wheel, VPC/AFC with BR 660 mod chip, Aeromotive AFPR set at 40 psi, TMO stage 3, 35mm deltagate, self-ported head and intake manifold, 221 fmic, 2.5" IC pipings, and bunch of crap.

I don't trust O2's from what I have found after comparing them to what the FJO says. They are too inconsistent. Sometimes .92 is 11.4:1 and I've also seen .96 = 11.9:1.
 
I would think that the best way to get the most power would be to tune for timing. Of course O2 voltage and EGTs are important, but not fine enough to make big horsepower gains as compared to tuning for timing. Nice numbers, makes me feel better about my goals.
 
Another thing about O2s, the sensor reads leaner as it gets hotter. This is why on the highway I usually am around .92-.94, but at the track the first 3 gears are pegged at 1.02, and 4th is .98 or so. Useless...

I upgraded the TDO6H 20g to a TDO6H GT30/40. At 25 psi though I get the same airflow numbers on both turbos. On the new one I dynoed 400 whp on pump, so the 20g would have done the same. The car had issues because the MAFt was sending the wrong baro signal, which is a long story. But suffice it to say there is more in the setup. That TDO6H 20g was my favroite turbo so far. Great spoolup, but still makes tons of power on pump. Just another data point.
