I think you meant to say will these rims fit, but maybe I'm wrong. Those 265s sound a bit wide for a DSM. What kind of rims are you going to run these tires on and what is the offset? I've got 16X8 inch rims on my car and I run 225/50s that stick out past the fender as is. I think the widest I've seen is 235 but maybe 245 will fit. I'm thinking those 265s are going to make you look like a Mexican gangster's truck.

Find out the offset of the rims. They may fit. The 265's will not. 245's are possible (some say) if the offset is exactly right but if the car is lowered at all you are almost sure to have a problem with those too.

No way man 265 is WAY too big and theres no point in it, especially if you have a FWD car, you want the same tires all around not bigger ones in the back. I reccomend for you P215s or 225s, P265s would look rediculous.

Are you interested in buying rims cuz I have some show rims for sale. They are Lexani Amethist chrome rims 17X7.5 with Bridgestone Potenza RE910 215/45 tires on them.

Well I have stock GS rims on my GST because i messed up my rims and I didnt have money to buy aftermarket ones... anyways... I was reading how it changes ur speedometer. SO I was wondering If there is difference between both rims and tires...

Can you guys help me and put on the specs for both... And i believe the GS/RS rims are 14s and I thought the turbo ones were 16s...

As long as you are within a percent or two you should not have any problems.

I do not think there is a size difference in 2G GS rims vs. 2G GS-T rims.

If you have the 14" rims with the stock tires (195/70) then you are only .13" shorter than the 16" with stock tires. Basically your speedometer will be off by .3 mph at 60mph and your axles will do 4 more rotations per mile.

I have 96 GSX. I don't they are different or not on that year of GSX, but mine has 225's on the stock rims. The dealer put them on. They look just fine to me.

They may look fine but they're not. A mismatched tire width will put the flex point where it's not meant to be and cause catostrophic tire failure and a too wide tire will round the tread causing decreased performance.

I would suggest against it. You could get some cheap, wider, aftermarket rims. The free tires for life would offset the cost of the wheels.

I have 17" Konig Imagines and im about to buy some more tires, what would a good size for the rims be? right now i have 215/40/17. I think the rims are 7.5" wide so what tire could be put on? 225,235?
