Yeah Im gonna call them tomorrow. Guys I cant get the link to work in the post for some reason so just copy and paste it into your browser. Im tired of messing with it.

Hey guys....Im looking at these 19" rims for my car. I need to know what size tires can fit on our cars though. The first package is the rims with Toyo Proxes FZ4 size 225/35/19 and the second package is the rims with Toyo Proxes T1-S size 235/35/19. Will the 235's fit without rubbing? Or will the 225's even rub? Anyways if you guys can help me out I would appreciate it, Im trying to buy the wheels by friday. The rims and tires are for a 99 Eclipse GST, with no drop and stock suspension. Thanks!!!

I'm sorry to say but 19" rims won't fit on your car, but the tires will with the proper wheel offset as long as they fit on 18" rims

19s should fit fine as long as you get the right offset, width, and tire. Specs? I couldn't tell you, but Tom Sawyer could. He said he had no rubbing, no fender rolling, etc.

HTH,
Spidey

the 235/35/19 tires are 0.1 inches bigger in diameter than my 235/40/18 tires...soooo As long as your offset is fine, you wont have any problems rubbing. i have a +42 offset and the tires barely rubed the control arm in the rear, so i bought 3mm spacers and its fine now. so make sure you get at least +41 offset, +40 would be even better. some of it depends on the tires too. some have diff tread widths. you could go with the 225/35 and be fine, or you could go with the 235. up to you but as long as the ofset is fine, your golden

also, one of my friends has 19"s with 225's on it i belive. so 19"s do fit. most of everything though is all botu wheel offset. hell, one of ym friends has 17"s on his GSX with 245 width tires. they dont rub, because his offset is right for them. something like close to +35 or +38, not real sure on the offset and exact tire size

Wow...some people who actually know what they are talking about!! Thanks guys. I kept getting responses from other people that 19's couldnt fit, but that would be something stupid to say considering some people already have 19's. I will call the vendor back today and ask them what the offset is. You guys have been a big help!!! Thanks!!!! :thumb:

245/35/19 wont fit even with 3mm spacers (at least i doubt it) they are almost 1"bigger in diameter and they are also 10mm wider. dont forgot that the contorl arms are curved. you might be able to get a 245/30/19 on there since the diameter is 0.6 inches smaller and then with the spacers you get an extra 3mm plus the arm is curved and farther in sooo..you may be able to get 245 width. you wold have (basically) a 37mm offset, which with being smaller 245 theoretically would fit and having a smaller diam helps. i would say if you wanted 245 width tires, you would be better off with getting 17"s or 18"s. with 19"s and 245/30, your sidewall is 2.9" so nto much at all.

hopefully you can understand what i just said. my mind was working diferently today..stupid differential equations and thermodynamics in school

also, you can go to the miata tire calculator (just searchin google for it) and type in diff tire sizes and see the differences between 2 tires

Hey I just put 19's on my car and they fit perfect with no rubbing at all. I went with 225/35/19 with a 45 offset. I am thinking that 235 will be to wide. Go for 19's they look tight as hell.

I bought new wheels and tires for my car recently. I spent a lot of time researching it because I wanted larger wheels and I wasn't sure what would fit and ride well. DSM.org has some good information on the subject including a guide to calculate tire diameter for various diameters and ratios.

I would be careful going wider than stock. It seems on the 2g anyway they already pushed the limit for tire width compared to the wheel width. Tire wider than wheel = greater roll = poor handling.

Bigger Tires?

Whats the largest tires I can fit on a 97 without changing suspension.
Whats the info on changing settings so speedometer / odometer clocks right after?

are you talking about height or width, like can you fit 19's or 20's, im sure thats possible, as far as width goes, i have 235/45/zr17s on my ride with stock suspension and have no problems, i have heard you can run 245's but it might rub a little
