Did you try calling Extreme PSI and asking them about your issue?

Today is Sunday, guess you couldn't call them today, sorry about that.
Hit them up in the morning and see what they say.

I think I used an oil drain bolt to block mine off, picked it up from any local auto store. Has been working great. This obviously doesnt answer your question, but those who tread in here might find the info useful, I know I did when someone mentioned it a while back when I was looking on what bolt/size to use without ordering it.

While I haven't specifically used this, I'm thinking that their bolt is probably NPT & like alot of other threads on our cars, its probably BSP or BSPT. If this is the case it would prevent you from screwing the bolt all the way in, but still should seal fine.

Well I talked with extream PSI and the guy I talked to didn't seem to know much about it , just kept putting me on hold , I asked if it would screw all the way in he said it should , then he said you still have to use the water line as a spacer .....but I told him when I do it that way it only leave 3 threads to bite into the block and I did not trust doing the ....incase of backing out ......

I don't know ...got me all messed up LOL

wow never really thought of that ....just might have to try it , was you able to make the big head on the bolt flush with the block ?

Did you use thread lock and tape on the threads ?

Just trying to make sure I get this right the 1st time before heading down the road and the bi*** pops out :thumb:

You know what, its been a while since I installed my 50 trim. So to be honest I forgot, I dont want to give you an answer i'm not completely sure about. But It's been 2 years now, and I havn't had a problem with it. Damn, and I forgot if I used thread lock/tape on it too. I'm sure I have if I havnt had a problem up to this long.
