Whats up guys, im new to the dsm scene....i have a 95 tsi fwd with an intake, mbc and a greddy bov, the car idles a bit weird and for some reason doesnt boost properly...its boost fine up to like 4k rpms and after that it has no power...plus if i raise the boost on the mbc it doesnt go up at all...my boost gauge reads 10 lbs with the mbc raised all the way...it seems as though the car has no power...am i missing something here? is there something i need to do? any help is greatly appreciated thanks everyone.

Ok so most likely it's boost leak? Another issue I have is the chel on light will go on and off every few days and the code is p0505 and Ive already replaced the iac so idk wth it doesn't want to idle properly...sorry if I ask dumb questions I just don't know much about these cars

Why are you trying to raise the boost?
You can't run anything over stock boost with you stock fuel setup and no engine management, and stock turbo. Get rid of the boost controller, it's probably giving you a boost leak. Stock boost is 12 lbs so you obviously have a boost leak. Get rid of your boost controller and fix the boost leak

Nah, he can push it to ~15psi on stock injectors if he wanted to. The boost controller is not causing the leak, all it does is engage the actuator (at a low psi). I suspect the bov possibly if not the IC piping...

Also, in regard to the idle problems, if you've disconnected the battery (to clear the cel code or something), keep in mind the ecu will take time to adjust the fuel maps...might take a day to idle properly.
