I recently put all new suspension on my '97 Talon. GAB 4-way shocks with Eiback coilovers. I dropped the car about 2 inches. Needless to say the camber was off in the rear badly and since I have a 2G I took advantage of the homemade rear camber kit idea. I drove the car a week without the camber kit and it felt awesome. Then this weekend I put on the washer and longer bolt like they say to do and hit the highway. The problem is that anything over 60 feels really loose. I couldnt just rest my hand on the wheel like usual, I had to hold it straight and if it turned the wheel a little bit it would feel like the front of the car would turn and then the back would turn a second later, kinda like the back wanted to kick out and start drifting. I know I need an alignment now that all that work was done, but the car doesnt shake or pull to either side so Im wondering if its more then that. Also does the power steering cut out at high speeds on the 2G? Sorry for the long post just trying to give some detail, thanks in advance.
It feels like a still have power steering at 70 and I was under the impression it was supposed to cut out. Maybe its just a result of the toe, but it feels so loose I though it may be a combination of things.
