General 2G SAFC 2 closed loop question

How does an safc 2 tune? My car runs perfect in closed loop and I don't want to mess with that at all. I run pretty rich under boost and that's all I want to change. Does it just affect open loop?

It intercepts the airflow signal and changes it to trick the ECU into thinking it is getting more or less air than it really is. The ECU will always automatically adjust the car so it runs correctly in close loop.
