2g Pistons/Rods 1G block

Will aftermarket pistons/rod from a 2G have a direct fit to 1G block? I know wrist pin diameter is diffrent but is that it?

aside from the adjustment your referring to, yea i think thats it..

i have a set of 2g pistons if your interested... perfect shape..

I ask because I found a deal on 2G JE Pistons attched to 2G Eagle rods. Everything I find talks about fitting 2G pistons to 1G rods and there are a few modificatoins to make them fit. But since I already have 2G pistons/rods it should just bolt right in after I have my block bored.

different size rod big end I believe.

Ya I just found it.

1G bottom end width is 1.117"
2G bottom end width is 1.038"

So it will not work. Thanks for everyones help.
