I have a 1995 Eclipse GST with a 7 bolt 4g63t I'm rebuilding. I purchased the ACL oil pump and I have the balance shafts deleted but the sprocket is bigger than the gear. Do I have the wrong sprocket or am I missing a step of putting it on? Thanks for any help

I finally took pictures. Like I said the gear looks different than the oem one from STM and this is the ACL oil pump for a 7 bolt from STM. This car was given to me so this is my first time trying to rebuild one. I appreciate the responses.

Anyone local thats a DSM or 4G guy/friend as you are going to need one! Working on an engine never worked on you will get lost and make mistakes no matter how we all try to assist you. Also grab a manual as that will help you alot with specs, details and speed vs online will.

But go to a local meet and look for dsm guys and make them be your friends LOL you going to need them haha

Yea my boy who gave me the car has been helpful and I picked a manual up the day he gave it to me so I'm pretty sure I can get it done. It definitely doesn't hurt to get more people helping though LOL

Ok. I have a cd rom with everything on it Ibelieve. Yea Haynes didn't even explain how to put on the oil pump just says put it on the way you took it off LOL
