Ok i have been searching through ever forum i can find and looked at every 2g odb2 datalogging website there is but i have a big problem, Im building a new engine thats going to have a turbo on it. I need to find a datta logger to test all my VE ratios to make my decision on which turbo im going to get.

Basicly i have a 2g non turbo and need to logg all my data. Do i need the cable AND the elm type interface to lessen the voltage to protect my laptop or do they make a cable some place that is just plug n monitor. I have two palms but im really not into the whole logging with a palm pilot. i want to use my laptop.

I have no first hand experience, but I believe most commercial 'loggers' for the 420a don't record a hell of a lot of useful information. Chrysler is stupid secretive about their computers.

Please don't take my word as divine writ in this case, though. If a mod might be kind enough to move this to the 420a Bolt-On section, you would get plenty of accurate information. If it does not get moved anyways, and you want it moved, PM a moderator and ask to have it moved.

You can log basic information with the Zeitronix setup, and similar products. Also, computers like AEM and MS can log all sorts of stuff you never wanted to know about.

see i was looking at the ECUPlus the piggyback system basicly a new ECU and i think thats the one i want to buy, so in acuality i will be logging from the ecuplus unit. i just dont if i can use it for a N/T you know what I mean, i emailed the ecuplus ppl to ask them but havnt heard anything yet

well i just got a reply from the ecuplus ppl and they basicly said the ecuplus is for the 4g63T ecu, so now im back to squar one My Next solution to Find out, Does anyone know if i can do a 4g63T ECU swap into my 420A
