First off my i have a 2g talon with a 1g motor. Not sure if I should've bought a 1g cable now due to mounting and bolting placement.
So I purchased a new 2g cruise cable and installed it a few weeks ago. This isn't my DD so a few days after I installed it the I went out to test a few thigs with ecmlink. I noticed that at certain points my throttle poosition would hit 100% but at WOT my throttle position sits around 75%. I never had that issue with my old cable even with the CC box and all.
I did notice the even with it adjusted to the furthest point on the IM mounting brackets there is still a lot more slack than I would expect. I've tested the cable with the car off and it does appear it opens as it should and dsmlink shows 0%-100% with the car off.
I thought of maybe hacking my old cable to test compared to the new cable. also thought of using a dremel to bore out mounting bracket but that would only leave me with one slot to bolt the bracket down with.
