Okay so here's the dealio. My eclipse master window switch is messed up. It won't put the passenger window up or down. And the locks don't work. So I replaced the master window switch today. And now the locks work when they want to but my window still won't go down. When I push the lock button you can sometimes hear a clicking sound coming from the left rear part and from the center console. Help?

on ## leftside underneath the dash theres some relays..... sounds like your power window relay went out...
wish i could post sum pics on which relay it is but im at work rite now.

You replaced the entire switch panel including the plastic bracket that bolts to the door? Usually this problem is the plastic holes that the screws bolt into blow out and their is no support on the switch panel and is not making full contact.

Yes my passenger window does go down but I have it hooked up to a fuse because if I press the windown button from the master switch it might short out the car. I have no clue what's up with it. And I replaced the master switch meaning the little box thing that you unscrew that have the buttons.

Why is it that when I press on the lock switch I can hear a clicking sound coming from my drivers side rear panel. Or from the center console. I checked the fuse for the lock and windows and they're both good. I don't know what could be the problem WTF

Bringing back from the dead. Similar problem. The driver side master switch just the door/window lock/unlock buttons work but the buttons that control both windows work they feel like it. The passenger side switch works. I did notice the switch itself seems to be loose or deattaching from the door panel. Any ideas? What was the solution for this thread?

I had the same probem with my 1g, and my girls drivers side switch..I replaced both switches and had the same problem..

The solution for me was to pull apart the switch itself, and clean it up..The contact points are copper and had corresion on them..Not allowing the switch to work properly..

After doing this I put the switch back in and it worked great..Never had a problem since..
