hey i just bought a maft kit and i have a few questions, first off would it be alright if i just cut some of the pipe off of my upper intercooler pipe before it meets the throttle body to fit the translator in? also, it has two wires coming out of the translator that go no where, the one is white which i found out is for rpm which i dont need hooked up but there is also a purple wire..anyone know where that has to go? any help would be great, thanks

also if anyone can help me with the settings the car has 3 insh exhaust, uicp, bov, intake, afrp, fuel pump and boost controller. stock injectors.thanks

Solution
I have the maf too the white wire is for the rpm signal, and the purple is for extra stuff like
nitrous. The wite wire goes to the third wire on the cam angle sensor, splice into that one, the black one closests to the firewall, hope this helps.
