2g maf in 1g

are you able to put a 2g maf in a 1g with out a maf-t or safc?

Yes. But the plugs are different, just a little bit of wiring is involved

You can, but you would need to wire it up correctly. Look at the vfaq page for the how-to write up. If you do this then you would be running leaner and will need to adjust your a/f to make up the difference. I would upgrade to bigger injectors first or at the same time as when you install the 2g maf. Just saw your profile and it looks like you have an afc already. Install the 2g maf and start tuning.

His upgrades say he has 550s and a safc so he will be fine if he wires it right

follow the vfaq and you should be alright
2g maf and 550s are a good combo installed at one time
and tuning with your safc should be quite easy.
