2g maf hard wire on 1g car! Weird wire colors!

Hello all.
I have a 2g maf and plug with 8in wires. The wire color is a little different then the ones I have seen.
I'm going to cut the 1g maf plug off and splice the 2g maf plug wires into the 1g wire.

My car is a 91 talon awd manual.

I'm going to start off with pin1. (looking at the back of the plug where the wire come out off)
PIN 1. green wire with yellow stripe
pin 2. pink wire
pin 3. white wire with black stripe
pin 4. black wire with red stripe
pin 5. black wire
pin 6. red wire with blue stripe
pin 7. green wire with white stripe.
pin 8. NOTHING!

How do I hook it up to the wires from the 1g car.

Does anybody have a picture of it hard wired/ spliced in to there car. I can go by that.

Like pin 1 goes to what ever color on the 1g maf harness.

If it will help I can take a picture of it and post it..

THE 2G MAF says 609 on it.

You have one of what they call the mystery plugs in the VFAQ. Ignore the colors of the wires on that plug and pay attention to the pin #'s.

It connects to the 1G harness like this:

Pin 1 on the 2G connector goes to the green/red wire that was pin 4 on the 1G harness.
Pin 2 on the 2G connector goes to the green/yellow wire that was pin 7 on the 1G harness.
Pin 3 on the 2G connector goes to the green/blue wire that was pin 2 on the 1G harness.
Pin 4 on the 2G connector goes to the red wire that was pin 3 on the 1G harness.
Pin 5 on the 2G connector goes to the green/black wire that was pin 6 on the 1G harness.
Pin 6 on the 2G connector goes to the green/orange wire that was pin 8 on the 1G harness.
Pin 7 on the 2G connector goes to the green/white wire that was pin 1 on the 1G harness.
Pin 8 on the 2G connector goes nowhere.
