I just bought a bosch o2 from advance auto and guess what it doesnt work. the plug is wrong and is definetly to short. i called them back and they said it was right and there was no others they could order!!! my question is can i cut the plug off my old one and attach it? the bosch comes with two whites (which i think are for the heat), a grey and a black. do the two whites connect to the two black on the original o2 sensor? does it matter what one conects to either white wire? then i figured the blue wire on the original connects to the grey? and the white on the orignal to the black on the bosch? can anyone tell me what colors go to what. My o2 was dead and had no voltage, hopefully its the sensor and not the wire going to my ecu.

i found out what was what the black on the bosch is the signal and the white is ground. everything works great now.
