2G Koni's/Good price?

It is time for me to to add a little suspension to my car other than the eiboch springs I've had on for a while. I asked a local that does alot of road racing what I should get for my suspension and they said I should get a set of Koni's to go with my springs. When I look on most parts websites they are really expensive. I found that I can get them as low as $629 shipped on eBay so that's not too bad. I was just wondering if there was another brand that people recommend that will be just as good or if anyone on here can get them cheaper than $629 shipped.

My car is 90% street car and 10% drag car.

Koni's are great shocks, but that's too much money to spend on shocks if you aren't in racing for a business.

You could also try looking into the tokico illuminas or the kyb agx's. Either should be adequate for what you are looking to do.

Thanks I'll check the announcements and see if there are any specials. I know they are expensive but I have a FWD DSM and it is going to be hard to get good numbers at the track as it is. If I could get another set of shocks that would do equally well for less then I would go with those (they dont have to be as adjustable or anything...they basically need to be able to be very stiff in the back and somewhat loose in the front). Extremepsi lists them at $155 a piece (so $620) & HiRev (supporting vendor here) lists them for $139 a piece. Thats the cheapest I've found, though they don't have them posted on their site.

We also have em for $153 a piece but I'd recommend going with a set of Tokicos for that price as they are a lot more cost effective and perform just as well.
