So I have searched but haven't found a similar situation. Whenever I make a really hard right turn I get a nasty hesitation for a split second. Let me start by saying there are no boost leaks or any of the regular problems. I just pulled her out after sitting for the winter and did full tune up an maintenance. The only thing left I can think of is something with the fuel pump, I am just looking for other ideas.

I don't think DSMs have an inertia switch. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that somewhere.

Anyway, I think my problem lies within the fuel tank itself. Soon after I bought it (little over 2 years ago), I learned that my fuel tank was dented. And since I had it up on the alignment rack the other day, I used the time to take a few shots of it. Due to the dents, the chamber that sits around the fuel pump, in my theory, gets drained of fuel too soon and reads as a low fuel level even when I have plenty left, and probably reacts the same way during hard right turns.

If I could learn who caused this, I'd punch them in their ovaries ;)

Looks like you need a fuel cell. My tank is in perfect shape. I don't think it could be wiring because it wouldn't just do it turning one way. I have a feeling there is something up with the pump, but no way to tell until i pull everything apart.

I'm assuming mine is the pump as well since it's likely to be the original unit. My fuel tank will get changed when I convert to AWD. But I'm sure the dents play a big role in why I get limites fuel range compared to normal.
