2g GSX poping out of gear? What's wrong?

The car is poping out of 1st gear only. Does anybody know what the problem could be? Does this mean that the tranny is going and will need replacement?

It has been a problem with 1g's I know but could be a problem with 2g's to. Read up. Very simple to do.

You should Check your tranny fluid, Im more than sure its prob that....

Trans fluid would cause a pop out of all gears. And grinding and most likely a leaking problem as well. Does it pop out when you are letting the clutch out or when you are rolling.

Check your linkage's first to make sure they are enabling you to go all the way into first. Pull over, have someone get out of the car, manually put the car in first under the hood on the shift lever, with it unhooked from the linkage, and take off then. Make sure you have the clutch in obviously.
