2g GST Build/Re-Build - Prothane Total Kit & SAFC II Installed.

So I got the Prothane Total Kit and my Tokico Advanced Handling spring/strut combo fully installed tonight, all 24 bushings removed and 4 sleaves re-installed. Also got my SAFC II installed in the center console, I got the SAFC II mounting idea from 2GturboTALON. (Due to the fact that I have a Spyder, keeps prying eyes off of it).

Prothane's and Tokico's:

A huge tip for removing the original bushings. Use a hole saw bit to cut the center eyelet out, then use a sawzaw for the metal sleeves. Also, for the rear end you have to press 4 sleeves back in. The metal is not solid like the other bushings, it a 'C' shaped pieces of sheet metal. I used a setaline torch to heat up the arms and then used a 2.5lb mini-sledge hammer. They popped out with 2 hits and when back in perfect with 2 hits.

My car came with the prothane in the front but I'm debating on doing the rear or not. Looks good man. It's def good knowing your bushings will be good for probably longer than the car.

You didn't happen to buy that afc from me did you? The screen name looked familiar and whoever i sold mine to i told them that's a great spot to put it since i had the bracket setup for it already.
