Ok so my issue is this. My fuel pressure will NOT adjust (lower or raise). I had this issue before and it ended up being the o ring in the fuel pump got cocked, so i fixed it and problem solved. Well this time, I got rid of that whole ordeal, and put in barb fittings with hose and clamps (no more o ring bullshiet) and still have the same issue. The AFPR is not old, only has about 4-5k miles on it. Fuel filter has same mileage as AFPR does. I even installed a brand new walbro 255, and still same issue. I am going to try replacing the fuel filter one more time tomorrow, but does anyone have any advice?

I solved the problem, it was my AFPR. Funny thing is, when I tested it, I kinked the return line and my fuel pressure dropped (cause I turned the screw) and I said wtf. Turned the screw more, and it did not raise, so I kinked the line, it hit 100psi, and when I let go, it was at 60. So I said hot damn, replaced the AFPR and bam problem fixed. But the AFPR that was bad, is not old, it has a max of 5000 miles on it, and only 8 months old. Diaphragm looked perfect.

Anywho, rsawd95dsm, that piece is in the fuel tank, it connects the return line and siphon line together.

bryzenga, fuel pump is properly rewired and working great.
Also, I can hear the fuel run back to the tank from the AFPR, so I doubt something is wrong with the return line. However, what about that little funny looking plastic piece that connects the return line and syphon line together, is that suppose to be a check valve? Because I can blow/suck through all sides of it.

Anyone? I can pinch the return line and the fuel pressure goes up, and my base pressure is stuck at 50psi. Would that mean the regulator?

I am going to pick up another one just to verify this, however this regulator is not old and only has 4k miles on it :/. Guess we will find out shortly.

Aeromotive a1000 i believe (compact black one) and its this piece (not my pic)

How is your pump wired? Throwing this out there for something to check... Verify sufficient voltage at the pump. Regulator would be my suspect, new parts don't always mean that it is good. Pump gas or E85?
