I did do some searching on this but I'm still unclear. I have a 93 Laser RS FWD. It has a 7 bolt engine in it. Would a 95-99 exhaust system fit on the car?

Thanks. What is different about it between the two? I thought that it might fit since I have the 7 bolt engine.

It's not about the engine, it's about the actual car's undercarriage. They follow different paths.

I did read that it can be modified to fit. Will a 2g downpipe bolt up to the 1g o2 housing? I guess the 1g exits on the passenger side and the 2g exits on the drivers side. I read that you can flip it and it fits. Has anyone had any experience doing that?

This forum won't let me reply with just "no", so;

No.

Somebody just copied SpawnedX.. Quit jockin our style y0

And no sir it will not fit. The bends are different because the undercarriage are different and the length of the car is different in between generations. I mean you could probably modify it if your really that dead set on it. Or you could go to an exhaust shop and they could make you one for REALLY cheap.

There is no practical reason to try to modify any 2g exhaust to fit a 1g or vice versa.
