2G exhaust on a 1G

I have a quick question and I'm pretty sure of the awnser already just needed to make sure. I have a cracked downpipe(the pipe running from my manifold to my catylic convertor) I went to the junkyard today and looked up compatability for my 93 Talon TSI AWD, Automatic trans(i know). And it said only 93-94 years Auto AWD Turbo would fit it. Well i found about 20, 90-92 turbos, a couple autos (but no turbo auto awd). I managed to find one 97 Eclipse GSX, automatic. I was wondering if there was anyway I could hook up the 2G pipe on my 1G. I don't know where else to go to find this part cheap, I don't have the money for an aftermarket because i would want to get a 3" andthen, have to upgrade my whole exhaust system.. Does anyone out there know, or have advice? I appreciate it.

a 2G downpipe will not just bolt on to a 1G.

1G downpipes are basically the same, as long as you get the correct one for your drivetrain

When you say their all pretty much the same, how pretty much are they? haha, I mean do they require mods if so what.. And when you refer to the same drivetrain do I just need to find an 1G Auto, or do i need to find a 1G Automatic All wheel drive? also, i'm sure there is, but just to cover all grounds is there a difference in downpipes pipes between the 1.8 and 2.0(also 2.0 n/a) ? becuase i saw a bunch of them too. Funny how they have everything possible but what i need. Thanks for the help!

Apart from my previous questions, if I am unable to use any of the other parts, i'd be looking into buying an aftermarket..
