Resolved 2G Evo 8 OFH help

Ok so I looked at the posts that pop up when starting this thread and I don't really understand. I see that I need a BSP(?) threaded fitting for my Evo 8 OFH. I obvioysly need to run an external oil cooler on my 2g. Can someone help me with this? I'd like to either order these fitting soon or head to a hardware store to get them to finish up my engine build. Thank you.

The BSPT fittings are more difficult to find. I ordered mine from rtmracing.com. It came 3 days later and worked like a charm. It also depends on what you want the opposite side fitting to be(ex: AN, 90 degree, male, female)

Actually, its an M18x1.5 thread. Fits perfectly and doesnt leak. Easier to find fittings as well. I do see it calls for the BSPT fittings but after sitting at lowes in the plumbing department, then heading to autozone, i ended up finding out about the m18.

The 2 oil ports are metric, the others are bspt, since you have the evo 8 you got 3/8bspt and 1/8bspt aswell, remember that you will only get about 3 threads unless you tap it out more.

1/8npt will not work as intended
