2G Evo 8 brake swap squeaky

I have a 2g I did the Evo 8 Brembo swap. Anyone that can recommend me brakes, I tried a few pads Brembo and a Duralast ceramic and I hate hearing the car squeaky on every brake I do. thanks

Did you even wear the pads in yet? Some take some time to bed properly. At least 100-500 miles if street pads and also depends on prior compound deposits left over can also be an issue.

I have i replace them already 2 times i even resurfaced the rotors because they where damaged the guy who had it before me didn’t have the calipers mounted right until i saw it and i ran the car on every pad for more than 1k

have you tried adding a pad backing sheet so the softer anti squeel stick on backs? These can help in times like this.

Yup i have it worked for a bit but a few drives and started making noise again i was searching on youtube sone people recommended stop power ect pads but i wanna see who uses what and if they worked i check the caliper and their good

i have used carbotechs without noise, only when light braking as its normal to get that, and that's a race pad so not sure on your situation. something seems off as i had used 3 pad compounds on my older brembos. ebc can be very quiet

It’s been a few years since I have drove mine but I believe I resolved this issue when I used some shims that they apparently sell for the evo brakes.
Maybe you already have them .

No sorry it was years ago, I’m still trying to get mines driving or better yet, stoping.
I installed a 3g MC to aid in brake feel but currently having an issue with leaks.
