My window has started to angle in more than before and won't close right.

Not a single person knows how to adjust a window?

OK finally got so sick of this that I took apart the door. I found out the source of door rattle and window leaning in are very similar.

At the front edge of the window is a rail and a plastic 'U' shaped fitting that runs on the rail. If this plastic part wears thin, thin window rattle occurs. If this plastic piece breaks off, then really big window rattle will happen and the window alignment will begin to be off. Without the tight fitting plastic piece, the window can get derailed and that causes a sudden leaning in of the window.

I'd say the best place to get a replacement part is a pick-a-part junkyard. Taking off is easy, just need a something like a 8 or 10 mm wrench, maybe socket but it's tight in there. Putting back on is...

There are about 10 threads about window adjustment that go nowhere.

Does someone know the steps in doing this?
which bolts do what? Things to look out for? etc..

Putting back on is harder since the bolt on the other side is that weird round window nut. Someday I am going to locate and buy that special tool. But for now, just hand tighten that round thing the best you can (A good pair of channel locks might fit and be able to grab the thin edge of the round nut.)
