I have a 2g turbo talon and I keep ordering coolant temp sensors and they keep being wrong.
Got non oem one,installed it and it didn't plug in very well and it caused my car to overheat in a few minutes. Rechecked it and it supposedly if for non turbo 2gs.
Then ordered one from dealer and it don't plug in at all. WTF? My car has a 6 bolt 2.4 swap but I have the stock wiring harness. The coolant temp in there plugs in fine so no idea what the deal is.
The dodge dealership tried to say the coolant temp sensor is the same for all 2g cars.
But like said it don't plug in and looks slightly different more square shaped in the plug in opening and mine seems slightly rounder or something.
I am having start problems and really really need to replace my current sensor.
Can anyone clear this up for me?
