Hey everyone. I have a 2g 6 bolt swap and the clutch pedal has been giving me some issues the past couple days.

The pedal gets extremely hard towards the end of travel so it feels like it’s binding on something. I checked the shift fork and it’s sitting towards the driver side. When I had my friend push the clutch in the fork goes all the way to the passenger side of the window. I’ve replaced the master and slave about 2 years ago and the fluid looks good and clean.

Also I did the drag test on the clutch to make sure it wasn’t dragging and when I revved the car to redline the clutch fell to the floor.

I’m really confused since it was fine last week and now it’s not. any help is appreciated thanks

Take this with a grain of salt, but when this happened to me, it meant my clutch failed.
I replaced master and slave right when I got my car, as well as bleed the system for a long long time, and I still had issues.
If I were you, start eliminating variables. Replace the master and slave, refill fluids again, replace the clutch fork, inspect your clutch lines, etc. If none of that makes the problem better, I'd start to examine your current clutch to see what's up.

Hope that helps somewhat
