2g Car wont run with new 1g CAS HELP!

Recently i put 1G cams i bought from a friend in my 2g car. I had to buy a 1G CAS also which cam in today. ive been trying to reserch how to splice the wires from the CAs to the wiring harness and i am pretty sure i did it right but when i go to start my car it will start but run for 3 seconds then die. ive tried 5 or 6 times now to start it and ive even tried spinning the CAS but nothing seems to be working.... PLEASE HELP!

well on a 99 there is no plug or injector swap necessary unless you have like a 95 ECU? You need to check your wiring, twisting and taping = no. Butt splices = NO, Crimp-on connection stealers = no. Soldering with 16Ga wire and shrink wrap, yes!

So your sayin i should solder the wires together? do you by any chance know what color wires go togetrher? ### ive loooked at wire diagrams but cant make much sence out of them

All i have spliced together are the Blue wire out of the wire harness spliced with the White one froim the 1G CAS. Are there more that i need to connect?

Are you sure them 1g cams are turbo cams? If so maybe you put them in the wrong way? If there not turbo cams or in the wrong way your car is not going to run. Try swapping your stock cams back in with the 1g sensor and see if it runs then.

The cams are straight out of another 2g dsm. and they are in the right way. i really think it is the wiring harness i think i might have left some wires unspliced that needed to be spliced. Can anyone help me with the wiring? what wires go together?

Right here you said you had 1g cams, but here is that diagram RRE Instructions

On a 2g the cas has 3 wires, red, black, and blue with white stripe. Cut the connector off and extend the wires a bit and solder on new ends then plug them into the 1g cas. Follow the RRE instructions, or this.

thats what im asking i dont understand those wire diagrams so im asking what color wires connect to each other??

Can anyone help??? i really need my car to run its my daily driver
