Hey guys I just got threw installing some new parts. Slowboy Racing fmic, auromotive fpr, and tial bov. Heres the problem when I go to start the car it will either idle really ruff like between 800-500 for a few second and die, or idle really high like 3000 for a few seconds and then die. Sometimes they are both followed with a small backfire in the intake manifold. I adj the fpr to about 35ish or so the gauge says. The only thing i took off is the throttle body and the housing but I plugged all of the plugs back in.

Double check your MAS plug. Pressurize the intake system and fix any leaks you find.

major vacuum leak, pressure test to find it.

yeah that was my goal for today just waiting for my compressor to be fixed, also why would it backfire threw the intake manifold what causes this

alright found the problem the throttle body gasket that goes between the manifold and the throttle body wasn't the right one it didn't seal all of the ports. So I made one and now its alive!!!
