car wont run(clicking sound)??

so my car turns on jest fine but when i give it alittle gas the rpm drops down and i hear a clicking sound were the radio and ecu are located..Also if i try to go in reverse the car will shut off,also at times the car will over heat. I recently changed the ecu cause my last one wasn't reading anything and i was having the same problems. So my question is can it be the same thing again? need some help

Sounds like your alternator is dying or completly dead.

Or you have a bum/wrong ECU. Or a bad MFI relay. A blown ECU can fry an MFI relay.

Yes check the ecu agine that could be it.I wiould have the battery and alternator checked also,just to make sure.Do you have to jump it off to start it?

no the car starts right up no problem..only when i hit gas the idles mess up and i hear clicks
