Why hasn't anyone mentioned KW? In this month's Sport Compact Car mag, the KW's owned in their suspension test at Buttonwillow. KW doesn't get the attention it deserves. Probably because most people are concerned about price before performance. Tein's coilover did extremely well too.

That was a great test. But didn't they set the coilovers up according to the manufacturer's recommendations? It's true that this method of thinking represents the average tuner going out and installing these pieces on by themselves, but I can't help but think the outcome would be different if they were dialed in individually. Especially to suit the driver's taste.

That's around the ball park I spent for my suspension. I just went with someone who had specific knowledge in out cars. Not knocking the KWs, but there's something to be said about piece of mind when spending that kind of dough.

I think the test was awesome. I do believe each individual could set up their own suspension. Because the Spoon coilovers seemed extremely dialed in, and the Robispec car with KW's I think was mentioned that it was all setup. One car was set too low, showing it wasn't properly set up.

I know what you mean about the KW's. I see a lot of track cars using them. I wouldn't mind seeing more DSMer's go with KW's. Good suspension from what I hear and yet it doesn't get much attention.

That test makes me want to have my car professionally setup and get some feedback from a professional driver.

It's been fun time dialing my suspension. Track time, lots of data gathering, adjustments, more track time. Sounds like a great excuse to get out there and put those Zeals to use
