I have a 97 GSX, I’m looking to get a trans rebuild upgraded.

What can be done to this transmissions nowadays and how much would are theses services going for?

I read that some parts are no longer available, I’m planning on pushing 500-600 to the wheels, not a drag car, not a street racer but I do want something that can handle the power/torque.

Thoughts on a shep 2 from 2009?

Parts availability sucks and you’re at the power level where you shouldn’t be messing with dodgy old mystery boxes. If you don’t have a line on a known good gear set from the better W5M33s, I’d be going with straight cuts from PAR or PPG to do it right, built by TRE.
