I just tried out my new set of shoes and just to let you guys know, 2g dual piston calipers fit perfectly with 15" wheels, no modifications required. Here is a picture

it has a set of slotted rotors. Cross drilled usually crack unless it's one of the expensive ones which at the same time don't fit with the 2g calipers. I didn't really care about the looks, just had to make sure 15's work with those calipers. BTW, I am not using any spacers yet, so for any awd 2g's out there this is a great setup. I am pretty sure we'll be selling this combo on our site. On the other hand, I am not sure how many people would be willing to spend the money on volks. All four slicks run about $680. Let me know if anyone is interested.
thanks

RamenPride has also performed this "Bargain Basement" modification on his GS-T. I just recieved my 2G AWD calipers in the mail. It'll be a while before they go on. I can't see to find the thread, but someone else purchased (or was planning to puchase) new OEM replacement Brembo rotors, SS brake lines, and dual piston calipers; this is the route I'm planning as well.

man...those weight even lighter than the gram lights. i think some rpf-1 would be a good deal for the budget dsmer like myself.

man...what a cool picture..i think i've seen it somewhere

Be careful with the "fake" brembo rotors. They are not exactly made out of the same material as the "real" brembos

This thread is a few years old, but RamenPride claimed to pick up Brembo rotors for $30 a piece. One of our trusted vendors sells them by the pair here (the GSX version) for $145. What sites do you recommend trying to find a cheaper deal? Here is another thread that shows the difference between the 2G GS-T and GSX OEM rotors.

I know the Volks TE37s are awesome about caliper clearance, but are there any other 15" wheels that fot over awd brakes?

BTW, the price in the link I gave in post #21 has lowered significantly to just a little bit over 100 bucks. :) I've already had mine for a couple months now, but after finding this thread I'm planning on getting the OEM Brembo replacement rotors cadmium plated.

EDIT: I just read this, but can't seem to find a list of which automobiles are offered such a luxury (I'm guessing not DSMs.)
