Ok, right now i have a 1g AWD Manual Eagle Talon that has a shepherd tranny in it. That car is now a scrapper for me thanks to the wireing shorting out, blowing all of my rings in the 6bolt. My question is am i able to swap my drivetrain from my 91 talon tsi awd into my 96 eclipse gst thats auto i have all of the wiring and parts, CAN IT BE DONE?
Whoa, what i want to do is do a 6bolt block with a 7 bolt head and see if i can use the 6 bolt tranny

From what I gather I don't if the axles or mounts or both are diferent on a 2g and 1g. The motor and the head is ok. I have a 6bolt swap with a 7bolt head I used the same tranny but is a 1g tranny.

sorry, i got a little bit ahead of myself when i was typing this what i want to do is a 6 block block on a 7 bolt head, and use the 6 bolt tranny, transfer case, driveshaft, and Differential.
