OK, I've searched and searched on this topic for days! While there are many sites with great info for swapping out automatic trannys for manual trannys, they all seem to be talking about FWD models. Great, but I have an AWD car.
My problem is this: From researching this I know that the final drive on the autos is different than manuals. What I cannot figure out is if the rear differential is a different gear ratio between autos and manuals. Can someone with CAPS check the part numbers to verify? Or if anyone has any real experience with this it would be helpful. I already have most of what I need for this swap except the tranny, and diff if I need one. Thanks in advance!
