Hey all, I started a facebook page entitled "285-35-17 tire locator and interest group". Please feel free to join, it is an open group. I did this in hopes of finding a good ultra performance summer tire. They have been made in relatively low numbers over the years, but I can't find any new.
I have found 275-35-17's for track use only, but that doesn't help daily driver vehicles much. Plus that's a little too small of a diameter for my tastes.
I also edited a tire size chart to include easy side by side comparisons of tire height and sidewall height. Should come in handy.
