im looking to buy new tires and have found some kumho ecsta 711's for a good price. Sound good?

205/40R17 , wouold that tire be too small or no?

I dont know what kind of driver you are or what your looking for but khumo 711's suck. they wear out fast, get choppy easy, and dont really grip that great. Now they could work for you depending on what your looking for. I just never see good things with those tires. Spend a little extra and get a good tire once ya know

215/45/17 would be a good size tire to get, not too big or too smal.
its like in between comfort and looks.
if you want comfort get bigger. if u want looks get smaller.

well actually i was trying to make sure it wasnt too small cause i dont have any drop and probablywont be able to afford one so i dont want MASSIVE wheel gap

here are my tires 215/45ZR17 yokohoma though

You named your Honda "the price"? Weird. Or is that a typo and it's really named "the prince"?

hahhaha are you kidding me dude?
hahahahha im still laughing...........

i meant those tires are good for what you're paying.

i like the way they look, if anything, i would have gotten 18", but i didn't have the money :)

I have 215/45/17 khumo 711 ectas.

I find that they are great , and because they are block tread, they have amazing wet and dry traction with the added durabillity that other tires even though being more expensive dont have.

My question though (did'nt want to start another thread) is since I have 17/7 rims what exactly would be the widest tires I could put on ??

I was thinking of going with 235 and adding a thin spacer for rub clearence.

Does any body have any insight??

I work at discount tire and see more problems than I can explain with khumo tires.
The only kumho I would use is the race tire.....
But I am just a guy and I don't matter
