255 fuel pump??

Hey guys if im running stock is it a good idea to get a 255 walbro fuel pump? if i do put it in what will be the aftercause of it?

No you do not need a 255 if you are a stock car. If you get it and put it in you will over run your stock fuel pressure regulator causing a much more rich condition.

iF youre running stock, then youre a good ways from needing a 255.

I would recommend doing the rewire though. It's pretty cheap to do and helps the pump out a bit.

Yes it would over run your fpr making your base fuel pressure iratic and causing your car to bog down. It would be a waste of a pump and money. At this time for you, I would not be woried about my fuel delevery.

I would follow the tuning guide, and install the parts in that order.

A fuel pump is the 9th mod on the list, so once you get there depending on your goals you can worry about the fuel pump.

And as said above a 255 will overrun the stock fpr so unless you want to get a fpr,
a 190 will be easier on your fpr.

what is a 4g63t stock fuel pump ? example 255 or 190?

If you are not going to go into hardcore DSm get a 190lph/550cc/Fuel controller/No AFPR.... (an IDEAl set up.)
If you wan a lot of Fuel to be safe: 255/AFPR/Injectors/fuel controller/etc....
