225-55-r17 wheels on a stock 95 gs?

I was wondering if 225-55-r17s would fit my eclipse. I'm buying a set of wheels from a buddy and they currently have that size tire on them. I don't know the width of the rim. If they don't fit what would be a good size to run?

I don't think you'll have a problem with them fitting, but it also depends on the wheel offset.

You need to know the offset ,They are pretty tall I ran 225-50 17 and it was pretty close I think my offset is 40 on a 17x7

they will fit but you may rub a little when you turn the wheels all the way right or left.
