First off I would like to apologize for not posting this in the handling tech. Unfortunately, I am still a new member and do not have access to that forum!
Secondly, I would like to apologize for yet another "will this fit my car" thread, but I have spent the past four hours searching and have not come upon a concrete answer!
Alright here it goes,
TIRE SIZE RECOMMENDATION REQUEST FORM
1. My car is a: 2g DSM (AWD)
2. My wheel size is:
Diameter: 17"
Width: 8"
Offset: +35
3. My current or future suspension height: No plans to lower the car.
4. If suspension is lowered: Will be minimum amount necessary to upgrade suspension.
5. Rear fender flange rolling:Would rather not!
6. My driving style is: Currently street, but allowing room to expand.
7. I have searched for and read the FAQ's, Tech Articles, and threads on wheel and tire fitment:
a) Yes, but I just need someone with experience to validate my choices.
So here is the thing, the wheels are listed above, they are the Kosei K1 TS if anyone is curious. What I was wondering is whether or not 225/50/R17 tires will fit without rubbing or not! I understand that the speedo will be off approximately 4%, I feel I can live with this, I am more concerned with rubbing.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read and respond to this thread! Once again, I'm sorry for posting such a redundant question, but wheels and tires are a big investment and I do not want to get it wrong the first time!
