20g wastegate actuator, can't open fully cause it hits cooling fan

Title says it all, wastegate actuator is hitting my cooling fan any suggestions on how to clearance it, that aren't drastic?
Also, could this cause my car to have no power and hit a brick wall at 2-3k rpms? That is the real problem I am chasing down, and I am uncertain if this could be why or not, still a bit of a newb to turbochargers.

Cant you just trim the fan a bit...
or is it actually hitting the Blades of the fan?

Other option is to weld shut the internal wastegate and get an external wastegate.

It's hitting the back of the fan cover, I am working on removing it, but unfortunately I am not sure I can tonight since I don't have a stubby screwdriver here at my house. But tbh, even once I get the cover off it might not clear enough, and idk if heat will be an issue for the fan motor, which btw, is why I can't cut, the fan motor is what's in the way, or if I get lucky(I never do) the backing plate on it is all that's in the way.

Buy some push fans and put in front of the rad, or trim your fan shroud.

Looking at one of these 2 fans:

Perma-Cool 19122 - Perma-Cool Standard Electric Fans - Overview - SummitRacing.com

The first is awesomely thin, but doesn't flow quite as much, the 2nd flows a lot, but will be close on clearance. Also, I am only going to get one slim fan, no reason to replace the pass side fan as it's not in the way of anything.
