Hello
As a lot of people know I’ve been having ongoing issues with the electrical in my 95 gsx. I’m going to try a used oem alternator instead of going the rebuilt route again for the 7th time.
Before this I want to make sure my wiring is proper with the battery in the trunk now. I’ve seen the merged thread but a lot of the photos are dead links and there’s so many conflicting diagrams. Hoping someone can post a sketch of a relocation with no kill switch.
Currently I have the battery in the trunk, feed going into a 150a circuit breaker then feeding to a distribution block in the front that then goes to a 150a circuit breaker then to the fuse box and starter.
I have a second line going from the battery to a 100amp circuit breaker then running to a 100 amp inline fish and going to the alternator. There is also a dedicated 0 gauge ground going from the battery all the way to the engine block
Was hoping also to get a photo of the connections on the fuse box to ensure I have them in the correct spots. Last alternator worked a month and then wouldn’t charge, hoping to eliminate this issue, only other corner is maybe the heat from the wastegate ruined the alternator?
