You're welcome to take pictures of the engine, but we won't be using any in the calendar.

The only way an engine picture could possibly make it is if the picture was of the whole car with the hood popped or off or something. We're looking for cars to use, both still and action shots, not just parts.

Planning to submit some picture from rallycross events if you don't mind the mud/dirt/such. The pictures all have numbers on the doors as they are required to race, is this going to be an issue or shall they be edited out? I know you said no photoshop, but not sure about numbers.

Please! I'd love to see some rally shots :hellyeah:

Leave the numbers - it's how you'd see the car during racing, and that's what we're looking for. The Photoshop rule is there to keep people from submitting crazy made-up photos, dropping their car in some other scene, changing car colors/trying to paint match body panels, or the dreaded HDR photo that's been over done.

For some reason my camera didn't save the date when I put new batteries in. I hope you guys will still except my submissions. I got some good weather and ran out to take some pics. the date saved is the date taken. I got a clean, low mileage DSM that is calendar-worthy. If you can, just let me know and I will try to retake some more before the deadline.

I figured as much. Just gotta decide which ones now!

Rules are rules. Sorry, but if I break one for someone, why shouldn't I break another for someone else?

my camera doesn't do time stamps on photos but i still wish to submit some photos of my dsm.

Ok, about the time stamp. My wife has a t3i i believe it does not allow time stamps. But i have a decent point and shoot that does. Just to be 100% clear. When you view the pics you want a date on the actual photograph not in the file properties? Will these dates be cropped out of the calendar? Mine show up in big red font. Ugly as hell! Hopefully there is a loophole.

I've already answered this question.

It doesn't have to (and ideally shouldn't be) on the photo. I will be able to find it in the photo properties that are automatically created when you press the shutter button.

Were the ones I sent in ok? I did miss the section about renaming them, so I can resend them if need be. sorry about that! oie!
