2012 Audi A7 3.0 Supercharged Overpriced/Underpowered?

They are really nice inside. 300 hp prob wouldn't feel too bad with a 8 speed since the gears are prob short. But VW and Audi's are pretty shitty when it comes to electrical. We have a 09 GLI and didn't have it more then 24 hours and it broke down.

That's the first thing I thought. The Lexus IS-F has an 8-speed too. Seems like way too many gears. They talk about how it improves MPGs and such, yada yada yada *boring R&T or Motor Trend magazine article about "green" starts here*

That $81K is for the brand, not the performence. Do you really see anyone that buys that car taking it to the track?
That Audi is doomed to pilate obsessed housewives and white collar commuters. No enthusiast is going to want that thing.

+2 on the new CTS-V. I would never buy one, but that's value.

Lol @ Audi. They can keep their 13.9 @ 101, mediocre looking 81K luxury barge.

If one could spend a few grand more and walk away with an M5, why wouldn't they?

Or, spend 10K less and have a CLS550?

Here in Austin texas Audi (S line & RS line) and BMW (M series) are like the most popular cars driven.. and i see PLENTY of people take them to the tracks, maybe not the drag strip but thats not what they were build for! They take them out on the weekends and take them to a race track.. you know with turns and stuff!!

But for a couple thousand more i would get the new Mustang Super Snake.. From the factory well over 800hp!!
No for real though if i had to money to blow and wanted a luxury sports car it would be the Aston Martin DBS.
