A full restoration.

Ahmen to that-

First thing on your mind with the car should be ensuring that EVERYTHING is in perfect working condition before you start modifying anything. Any mods can be a potential killer to an engine with that high of milage.... Timing belts, gaskets, etc. should all be replaced before you even touch a wrench with the intention of modifying.

This going to be off-topic, but I bought my talon with 212k on the odometer. When i tore it apart to rebuild everything, i found out that it had basically all new parts. The tranny was just spotless and the input shaft had Zero play(they probably replaced the tranny), it had a brand spaking new clutch in it, and it had new brake lines around. I guess some of the stuff broke on them so they had to replace it, and i bought the car right after they replaced alot of stuff.

Why wouldn't you get documents from previous work done before you bought it? Just to see where it is at.

Also because i bought the car for 200$ with plans on rebuliding everything from the start. I expected everything to be worn out, but apparently most everything had been replaced.
