hey, I would like to buy 20" rims in 20 x 8 with 235/35/20 , please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO!

NO!

NO!

I've never seen a DSM with 20's, ive heard of people BARELY fitting 19's withsuper slim tires though.

if you want apperance advice...

go with 16" rota's that are 13 pounds a peice, and look much better than any 20" rims I have ever seen...

My Opinion... maybe not yours...

No,

Even with the most slender low profile tires the diameter will be much larger than stock. And then if you try to lower your car you be rubbing the fender and probably on the inside to. 20s might work if don't mount tires on them though. It'll ride a little rough though.

to answer your question yes they will fit, yes they will rub, and your ride will suck even at stock height.

speaking from experience btw.

Good luck on getting 20's to fit and ride remotely decent.

BTW, your signature and your post contradict each other.

Sorry, everyone that posted are WRONG YOU CAN put 20's on an eclipse, my good friend has them on his 2g spyder, pics are below for people that have imagestation, so HAH shove that up your butt haha

You need fender flares to do it, he hates it actually. BUT YES it can be done

well your friend has strange tastes then

20's are to big for racing
20's are to big for the car itself even if you could fit them on and evidently you can the ride would be horrid and it would detract from performance and the look of the car

if you want big rims go with 18's or 17's but then again thats my two cents

You're right jtmcinder--the guys who ask these questions deserve all the reaming they get. So ream away, Jtoby.

20's will probably fit, my 19's fit fine but ride quality isn't what I'd call AWESOME. I don't race so I guess you could say my 19's are for looks. I love them, but 18's would have been a little more realistic. I've seen 20's on a 2g before and he said he didn't have any problems with 235/35/20s but it was also a show car that didn't do much daily driving. Low profile tires suck, I've had to replace 3 of my Nittos from "road hazards" i.e. potholes so I'd seriously rethink the 20's.
