i think you need to look into diffrent spring rates. they'll tell you alot. we also need to come to terms between reality and dreams. i hate to diss buit lets face it, 400 to the wheels on a street car? this car will never pass smog emissions. you'll have to tear the car apart every couple years. it's not as easy as it sounds. just personal opinions though.

When you have a 400whp street car, you dont have to tear your car apart every couple years for smog, you just have to pay more to get it done

I didnt say my car was gonna have 400whp, but it could possibley in the future, and it is in very reality. I want a suspension that will support atleast the 400-450 hp. Check out "Catchme" car he is a local to me, he is going to be putting down somewhere in the hp area very soon after putting in the cams, there are many many street driven dsm's at 400+ hp, are you new to dsm's (Im not meaning to sound like a dick about it ) its just not a dream

I dont think he was trying to say that 400hp on DSMs is a dream-we all know its not too difficult to attain, its more like having 400hp, stone reliability, and an emmisions worthy dsm is more of a dream. Lets face it, DSMs arent exactly what one could call "reliable," and smog in some states is a nightmare.

who cares about us smog states.

if youre smart you can take a 400hp dsm to the smog station and pass. gotta be smart though, just pass visual and make sure its tuned perfect at the 2500rpm band.



btw i will have Tien H-Tech springs and Tokico Illuminas on the car by the midweek.

maybe in the far far future if i can get a hold of a 95-99 totaled gsx with driveline still intact, but its not like im doing a fierce manhunt for one.
