.20 2g pistons in N/T?

Im in the middle of converting my 92 gs to turbo because I sold the gst and regret it. I have the motor rebuild with .20 2g pistons. My question is would it be fine to drive the car with those pistons and bore without the turbo? Would I see a loss in power? My DD is down and the eclipse is already set up for n/t at the moment because i haven't swapped everything yet.

I would say more than likely since turbo pistons tend to have a lower compression ratio than N/A spec pistons. What is your compression ratio now?

im running .20 npr 8.5 to 1 2g pistons

It's 0.020 not 0.20 pistons.

The pistons will be just fine. I have driven my SVO mustang with a blown turbo for months before I could get a new one. It sheared off the exhaust side while SCCA roadracing. Your car will be a dog with low compression but will run fine. If you put in bigger cams, you really hear them with no turbo. No worries. Tres...

Sorry it was quite late when I posted this I just needed to know so I can start driving the car today. Im used to turbo and non turbo cause when the GSt was down i was in the GS.
