Okay so im just curious. I have a set of new 9.0 cr 1g pistons(N/T) laying around and was wondering if i could use them in my 2g build. I know they will fit im asking if they will hold up to the heat. 400 hp goal.

More than likely you will crack a ring land. If you compare them to a turbo piston, they have a smaller distance between the top ring and the top of the piston. Pistons are cheap. Do yourself a favor.

Yeah the are cheap that is why i have no problem with spending the little extra money if i have to. I just have these laying there and was wondering. I compared them and the N/T pistons have a bigger gap from the top of the piston to the first ring, is that what you meant? Do you think they would melt at that level? I guess the main reason i want to use them is because the 9.0:1 compression ratio. Thanks

Not only are they probably manufactured differently, and from different alloys. You will also have to get the 21MM wrist pin bosses bored to 22MM. Not worth it at all. You can get a brand new set of NPR 2G turbo pistons shipped for under $100.
